Frankia I680SD

GENERAL SPECIFICATION

Fiat Ducato JTD 3.0 with 6 speed gearbox averaging 25mpg
6.9m long x 2.3m wide x 3.2m high
Max Permissible Laden Weight – 4,200kg
Four berths, four forward facing seat belts
Lots of storage, 875kgs payload 120 litre waste water tank 120 litre fresh water tank
Two full height wardrobes
Full height larder with six shelves plus four more kitchen cupboards
Full oven with four ring hob
Wind out awning
Two toilet cassettes (My mates have started calling me “Two Bogs”
Double bike rack
Microwave Oven (never used)
Very large fridge and freezer which switches automatically between gas, 12v and mains
Something I’ve never seen on another motorhome is the utility locker containing waste hose, electric cable reel and water hose reel, keeps things very neat
Extensions to the electric cable and water hose

THINGS I’VE ADDED
125W Solar panel feeding two leisure batteries
LED Bulbs all round (20 factory fitted lights plus about 30 mini mood lights)
Two shelves to each wardrobe making  total of 6 shelves (we have no need to hang clothes)
2 × 11kg Gasit refillable LPG bottles
Led Strip Lights to larder and front area of cab
I’ve taken a shelf out of the bathroom and turned the space into a laundry basket
External power point for 12v water pump
Small waste bin, the bin in the door is poorly designed
2 kW inverter

GADGETS
iBoost wifi aerial booster and hotspot – allows me to pick up an unlocked wifi signal and retransmit it in the van as a hotspot Tivizen TV Tuner – picks up the TV signal through the normal TV aerial and transmits that signal as a wifi signal
Garmin 7” Sat nav with reversing camera – has all the aires and service points already loaded
You know how all the recharging cables get tangled up, I’ve sorted them all out and put a cable tie about two inches from the end so they are all together. The other ends all plug into a multiway cigarette lighter socket thing and it all keeps everything slightly tidier.
